Professional Summary: My goal is to provide each of my clients with evidence-based information and support that empowers them to make informed feeding decisions that make sense for their unique situation. My job is to get to know you and your baby, assess what is happening and provide you with options. First and foremost, I listen to you to understand where you are coming from and where you want to go. My approach is to assist you to craft the breastfeeding experience you want to have. I will inform you, coach you and cheerlead you along the way. My expertise will help you get launched, keep things going, and, when you and your baby are ready, I can help wind things down. My story: I am a food nerd and became accredited as an IBCLC in 2009, following a nonlinear career path that began as a professional chef. My path to IBCLC began in 2003, with the birth of my son, a NICU baby. I was given a breast pump, an Ativan and a large slice of humble pie. Thus began my education into the science of lactation. I am passionate about my work and have over 15 years’ experience in clinical breastfeeding case management. I have a special interest in parents living with anxiety. Additionally, I embrace and lift up the legions of neurospicy and LGBTQ+ parents in and around Greater Boston. My deal: I provide pre- and post-natal in-home and telehealth lactation support to families in the Greater Boston area.
