Professional Summary
Alycia is a Pediatric Nurse and IBCLC. She has worked with new families for over twenty years as an IBCLC, nurse, birth and postpartum doula, and nanny. For the last seven years, she has worked as a pediatric nurse in pediatric primary and urgent care at a large community health center helping triage parent’s concerns over the phone and in person. Alycia also works as an IBCLC at a large academic medical center and in private practice, helping parents learn to feed their infants. She is currently enrolled as a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student with a focus in Pediatrics at Boston College. Alycia looks forward to utilizing her DNP education to help close the gaps in the public health system that adversely affect new families and new immigrants. She is passionate about helping families navigate the many challenges of parenthood. Alycia is also the mother of two young children.
